    Default Iphone Newbie

    Was wondering how I can go about connecting the iphone 3g to my mac and using it as mass storage, like I would my ipod. Its jailbroken, btw.

    you can't that easy, espcially since itunes 9.
    what you can do is install openSSH on the iphone from cydia, and then connect via SSH (cyberduck works well on the mac to connect). but that method only works over wifi, so it's pretty slow (forget large data) and the computer you want to carry the data to needs to have an SSH program and wifi available as well ...

    officially, the iphone does NOT have a storage-mode like the ipods do.
