How do you hide the keyboard in SMS?

Hey guys

After you launch the Messages app and you show the keyboard, how do you hide it again? It's hard to read some of the convos with the keyboard showing.
Or is it another one of the things apple never got around to adding?

(I searched.. didn't find anything on it.. haha)

get out of that convo and get back in..just dont put the cursor back in the type box.

So to bring up an old topic. There is no way to modify the SMS code to add a small kb icon on top to toggle kb on/off?? Where is the code location folder? I wouldn't mind taking a loom

Someone REALLY needs to make a little Cydia tweak that makes the keyboard work the same as in WhatsApp for example! (ie if you tap anywhere in the conversation thread when keyboard is visible it will minimise it)

iOS 5 should have a fix for this when its released to the general public. I have been messing with it for some time and it seems swiping the conversation will actually hide the keyboard. You have to tap the top of the text box and swipe downwards for the keyboard to lower and hide itself.
