    Default iphone silent mode/vibrate

    ok somehow i messed up my vibrate button, so when i switch it.. it doesnt go into silent mode, just keeps ringin.. vibrate toggle for sbsettings doesnt help much.. is there any toggles on cydia that i can download to put my phone in silent mode then normal mode?

    you could set the volume to 0

    it still rings tho. i mean very quiet. but it can still be heard in class. maybe ill create a blank ringtone.. hmmmmm

    are you sure? because it shouldn't. if you use the volume controls on the side of your device, a "ringer" volume indicator pops up on the screen. if you set that to zero (so no white blocks) then your should have 0 volume

    how do u do that? cause i always get 1 white block and it wont go any lower

    lol you're right ... though I'm pretty sure it worked on 2.x ... but maybe I've been mixing this up with the ipod volume or something.

    mhh ... have you tried setting the volume slider in settings > sounds to zero? I don't suppose it will work, but who knows.

    If the phone is under warranty, have it replaced. If not, order a new flex cable and fix it yourself or have someone fix it for you

    no warrenty.. my phones been opened multiple times.. and i have a blue case on it lol.. ill just order a new flex cable
