Question about boss paper.
Can I change icons with it? Or is it for the wallpaper and I use winterboard to change icons and all the UI and what not.

i think you can only hide/unhide the icon labels and the dock labels. You can't change icons with bosspaper. Bosspaper is really a tool to control wallpapers.
