Default Apples new terms and conditions

Hi All, as most of us have all done, i had to sign Apples new App Store terms and conditions in order to download a particular app. The download went fine but shortly afterwards a few updates appeared on my phone. One of those updates was for Skype which returned an error message reading "This App cannot be updated on a modified phone".

    Three Questions.

1/ Does this now mean Apple now know which phones have been jailbroken or did they always know.
2/ Will this void the warranty, or will a complete restore solve this issue.
3/ Is there any way to reverse the situation so that apple cant tell if the phone is jail broken or not ?

I have done some browsing and came across an article in Cydia re: By-Passing code signature. Is this related?

    Thanks all,

Try downloading it in itunes without your iphone being plugged in.
