okay... i just started the JB and see the pineapple

so i think i'm getting there *fingers crossed*

it booted and all that good stuff... one BiG detail, no carrier/signal

"scared" to restore in iTunes, i'm afraid it will update to 3.1.. how do i prevent iTunes from upgrading ot 3.1 ?

restart your iPhone, see if you get a signal
to prevent iTunes from upgrading ot 3.1 press shift + restore and pick the firmware you wish to restore to... not sure of the location of the firmware on a pc

tks.. restoring to the .ipsw i also used for JB, hope thats okay..\

added: it's working, all is good again... pfew.
