Slow Response to Home Button

After installing 3.0.1 on a 3G, jb'ing + ultrasn0w, set up as a new iPhone, and manually install all Cydia apps, then syncing w/ iTunes for the rest. I've noticed pressing the Home Button from a sleep or exiting an application (even Apple stock apps) takes significantly longer than it used to - maybe 3-5secs. Loading is normal as well as working within the apps. A similar discussion exists on the apple forums and apprears to remain unresolved. Anybody know if there's a resolution or work-around to this odd behavior? I just put 3.1 on 2ea 2Gs without issues and they work fine. It's just my 3G that's acting weird.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem. I have also noticed that it takes a second or three to hang up from a call, sometimes I think I missed the button and hit it again, resulting in redialing the number, annoyed folks and wasted minutes.
