Iphone 2g jailbroken and umlocked. Does it take 2 and 1/2 hours to sync and back up iphone on itunes. It's been what seems like 21 days 16 hours and 46 seconds since I first started syncing iphone with Itunes. Well not really but is anyone else experiencing such a long wait? Itunes version 8.2. Iphone software version 3.0 just upgraded through Pwnage(Love you guys)Any thoughts???

Well every version of iTunes has shorter syncing times, so that might be the problem. Also, when was the last time you sync'd it? Also, if you have lots of apps (like Navigon), songs etc., that will make it take forever at first. Future syncs shouldnt take anywhere near that long...

it also takes longer to sync using a pc than a mac. there are tutorials online on how to turn off back up to make your sync time shorter
