iphone 3gs crash

Hi,

I bought an iphone 3gs 16gig last saterday and 2 days later it just crashes.

I suddenly have a black screen and when I reboot it, it crashes again.

I can only reboot and stay on when I have it powered in. The date/time is then set to 01-01-1970 and my background image is gone. ( tried restore, but the problem remains te same )

I've done an update via iphone the same day I bought it. Is this a software problem? Or should I go to the store and let them repair it?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If I understood you right and a restore in itunes doesn't solve the problem, definetly go to apple and let them check the phone out.

Yeah, Im going back this afternoon, now I cant even boot him without the powercable connected, so I think the battery is broken to...
