How Do I Make A Call On Google Voice Mobile?
Ok, I am signed up with GV mobile (Google voice) and I downloaded the GV app on my iphone. But, when I dial a number, I get a pop up message saying that the call is being forwarded. Then, my phone rings and I'm connected to the call I placed. I don't get this... I thought that when I dial a number, that the call goes directly to that number. Instead, my phone rings after I make a call and I have to answer it to connect me to the number. This doesn't make sense. Am I missing something here?

Nope. That's how it's made to work. Think of it as a forwarding service.

That's not how it works for me.... I dial the number.. .and it rings with my GV number in the caller ID.
** edit.. take that back, it does ring my phone then dial, but that is allowing you to call from any of your selected phones. So you can originate it from your iphone, but pick up your house phone and finish the call.Last edited by Simtech; 09-14-2009 at 11:43 AM.
