no OS on my phone, how can I install OS 3.0.1?
How do I do it step by step?

For 3Gs you can only install 3.1

It's impossible to have NO OS on your phone.
For the 3GS, you can't. Only 3.1
For 3G & 2G just shift + click restore and select 3.0.1I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
