Iphone does not turn on nor charge..help
hey guys,
I need a help before i head to apple store.
I have a 3g jailbreak Iphone which now does not turn on nor show any sign of charge when plug to my computer.
i tried all the method that i can find googling..
like holding home and power. plug in my computer for charging whole night but no sign of anythin..
its just black screen ..
i remember before it get turn off.. battery stop chargin when plug into computer and battery died and now iphone does not turn on..
please guys any help will be appreciated.

Make 100% sure the phone is dead.
Check if the power button is stuck (does it "click"?)
Also check using an alternative usb cabel.
You do not want to come to the A store - and voila they get it up n running as it is Jailbroken. The "geniuses"will in such case mark yr serial with "Warranty Viod"

yes the power buton make click sound and working fine..
is it better for me to go to at&t store or apple store.
my warranty expires next months..

09-10-2009, 03:57 PM #4go to the apple store, they will see that it does not work and give you a brand new one, it may cost some money but i'm not too sure as when this happend to me i just orderd the parts off the internet and i'm going to fit them myself when they come.

Agree: Go 2 an Apple store.

Did even more surfing...
It appears that a LOT of users recently have experienced the apparent DEAD syndrome - but for some strange reason connecting to iTunes 9 fixes it!
Not sure what's going on!
Make sure 2 test it!!Do hope that helps
