    Default Question about MyWi

I heard it only works with 3G. I am trying to figure out how to use an iphone's internet connection so I can get internet on a laptop in a car during a cross country trip. So we'll be driving through a variety of networks and if we are using at&t, the conenction would need to remain during transitions from one network type to the other (i.e. at&t's network is not just 3g).

    Any ideas?

    thanks,

    brian

Only works on the 3G and 3GS because it's an extension of Apple's tethering. Apple didn't give original iPhone owners that option.

But you could always use PdaNet.

Do you know if with pdaNet, if it will maintain the conenction even as it goes through the different network types?

    thanks,
