iPhone 3GS pricing
I so want the 3GS iPhone, but I just can't bear to pay $600+ for one. I've looked on eBay and Craigslist (I don't want to buy one with contract, because that'd be paying over $1,200 for it
).
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to get one in the $400-$500 price range, or have any idea on when the pricing might come down to that on eBay? Couple months? After Christmas? Never?!

Probably a year. The 3g on craigslist still is going for $250-$350. And the 3gS is going for $600-$800. IF they come out with a new iphone next year, 3gS will probably be about $300-$400 and 3g will be about $200-$300 and 2g about $50-$150

Is it still possible to do this method, that I just read about:
-Buy the iPhone 3GS on a new contract, subsidized.
-Wait 30 days
-Cancel the plan, paying the ETF
-Now you have an iPhone for ~$500!
Does this still work? Or does AT&T make you return the phone or pay the unsubsidized price?

We arent going to discuss trying to screw Apple or ATT.
