possible to put 16gb guts into 8gb case?
a friend of mine has an 8gb 3g case that he had airbrush done to it. he wants to get rid of the case and get something different. would it be possible for me to take the guts of my 16gb 3g iphone and install them into the 8gb housing?

100% the same (except that the memory IC is a different version)
