iphone gets hot when charging

Does your Iphone get realy hot when charging from cig charger when pluged in motor car and does it not seen to be charging when the charge icon is on i had this happen to me today when i was useing tomtom app tomtom works fine carnt waite till the tomtom mount comes out

If you are using FW 3.0.1 - downgrade to FW 3.0.

There have been several reports on overheating issues with 3.0.1

Actually I don't believe that downgrading to 3.0 will cure his problem. There are several things that could cause this. ultrasn0ws first release, restoring from a back-up and so on. His issue could also be as simple as the car charger he is using. I would use a process of elimination to find the cause.

many thanks peps will try the charger in my car first it only gets hot in my car not from the maines or pc connection
