Message notification question

So, I haven;\'t been paying attention too much lately, and was wondering if there's a way to change my message notification sounds without jailbreaking?

I know how to do it with jailbreaking, but looking to try w/o that...

it's always been possible to change that, but I suppose you mean with your own custom tone.
if it were possible, you would obviously find it in settings > sounds. so no, it's not possible, sorry.

With iToner I can add my own custom ringtones, so I was looking for something similar...

You can't change the default alert tones (which is why you can't add more only replace them).
So jailbreak is needed.
