WiFi problem
Hello
This only happens with my home WiFi with 2 iPhones ( 1 first gen & the other is a 3GS iPhone )
I connect normally to my WiFi connection then after 5 to 10 minutes the connection stops responding and I have to disconnect & reconnect again.
Other WiFi connections are OK & my home WiFi connection works smoothly with any laptop.
What might be causing this ??

If it was on one phone I would say: Try to reset the network settings
Settings/General/Network/Reset
Why not try a reset of the router? Sounds more plausible since the 2 phones acts similarDo hope that helps

I already did that a hundred times before
before I got my 3GS I thought it's the old phones problem but now I am not sure

The first thing I would try is upgrading the firmware of your wireless router, if a new firmware is available. Many times, this fixes incompatibilities between wireless routers and wireless network devices.I connect normally to my WiFi connection then after 5 to 10 minutes the connection stops responding and I have to disconnect & reconnect again.
I have read some reports of the iPhone 3GS dropping its connection with Wireless-N routers running in N mode after a few minutes. Some people have reported fixing the dropped connections problem by reconfiguring the Wireless-N router from mixed N/G/B mode to a B/G mixed or just a G mode.
Here is a link if you want to read through it.
