im going to jail break the 3g 3.0.1
i watched vid on youtube

so if the phone is already on 3.0.1 do i need to restore it again either way??

or can u just use 3.0 FW and it will bypass

Read more here and you should be fine - a bit to learn the first time - but it is worth it.
