I bought iphone 3gs yesterday....the battery sucks! Help Please.
I bought iphone 3gs yesterday....the battery sucks! Help Please.
I charged it this morning and this evening the battery is very low without me doing anything on the phone...
I have 3.0 firmware on there, and i have unlocked and jailbreaked it.
How can i improve the battery?

1 - turn off 3G - when you do not need it (I don't find it much quicker)
2 - turn down intervals of the email checking.
3 - turn off the Automatic Location service.
4 - make sur the screen goes blank within reasonable time
The battery has a tendency not to have full capacity at first - takes a few cycles 0-100% to get there.
Look under settings... and I recommend SBSettings
And sorry to say but the battery time is poor - compared to other phones....Do hope that helps

What is your usage time on there? I also had a battery issue with mine but after about 2 weeks of conditioning it the life improved drastically.
