I got a 16GB White 3GS and the speed with Cydia app is one of the improvements along with other stuff. Already jailbroken and unlocked just in case.

You need to get them during the restore process. Which means that you're going to have to restore.

Ya i had to restore everything n was able to back up both files. Was edic also necessary?

if you have the ibec and ibss files you're good
