Default Screen staying blank when phone rings....

So today I notice when someone called, I heard the phone ringing, looked at it, and the screen was still blank. Thought nothing of it, sometimes the phone does weird things. Phone rang a little bit later and it was the same as always. Then just a few minutes ago, phone rang, and nothing on the screen happened. Anyone know what causes this, and how to fix it? I'm not jailbroken, and have done noting to the settings except add the battery percentage icon.

    Thanks

sounds strange. what happens if you actually push a button while on call? if nothing happens, it could be a hardware error. the iphone has a sensor that measures if you have you face on it (or better yet, if something is near the iphone). this sensor is only used while on-call to turn off the screen while you are on your phone so you don't accidentally tap anything with your face. maybe that sensor is broken.

Try to re-boot and see if it's still happening. Or restore it in iTunes if that doesn't work.
    Thank goodness for warranty right.
