Help.... How to unlock iphone w/o Sim Card!!!

either create a own firmware with PwnageTool (mac only) which will jailbreak, hacktivate and unlock the 2G, or jailbreak via redsn0w which will automatically hacktivate the phone as well. you need to jailbreak anyway because you need cydia to unlock your phone.

you dont need cydia to unlock, but you do need it to download some great packages.
1-just update your iphone with itunes to the latest firmware(3.0.1)
2-download Redsn0w
3-Open redsn0w and follow instructions
4-remember to check the box that says "Unlock" and also "Cydia" if you want to install third party software not approved by apple.
5-follow instructions and you'll successfully jailbrea/unlock your 2G
