Internet Connection w/o WiFi
Does anyone know how to connect your iphone to the internet without wifi.. I have a straight connection.
I've seen a tutorial on how to do this awhile ago but I've lost the link so it is possible.Originally Posted by freezeman226

With an iPhone, wherever you have service to make a call, you can surf the web.

Why not just download it onto your computer and then sync it to the iPhone?
I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

So I can access a program that directly downloads cracked apps threw it.
I can't do that without using the app.
Back to my question, anyone know?Originally Posted by freezeman226

We don't support cracked apps here.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

I know this. I'm not asking anyone to support me on cracking apps.
I just want to connect to the internet through USB connection (without wifi)
Please don't waste my time.. If you don't know how then don't post.Originally Posted by freezeman226

I think Angiepangie was just trying to clarify what you wanted. You weren't very clear in your description.
Am I right in saying you want to be able to plug your iPhone into your computer with the USB cable and use the hard wired internet your computer has through the iPhone?
Sort of like tethering in reverse. As far as i'm aware this is not possible. It would probably need an app or some coding to work.
Sorry missed the part about seeing a tutorial before, so I guess it is possible. But I ain't ever seen it.Last edited by Mophandleman; 09-02-2009 at 04:17 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
