Possible?

Ok well i just sent my iphone out to colorware to get painted, used my friends 3gs and became hooked. currently i have a 3g, but my question is would i be able to take 3gs internals and switch them to my 3g painted case? Thanks for anyone who gives me a solid answer!

the cases are the same, if that is what you are asking. I suppose that you could have them swapped without much problem.

hrmm i wonder if the button hooks/locations as well as the inside of the case are shaped exactly the same or if they mold the 3gs more to the internal components.

Not sure, guess you'll have to open it up. You do realize that it also voids the warranty.

If you mean just the backing, yes they're exactly the same.

hrmm i wonder if the button/frame would fit too. i have these painted pearl white and the back painted pearl black =D

Frame as in the chrome bezel? Yes I think that'll fit.
Not sure about the home button though...
