Default 4 digit passcode not working

I have a 4 digit numeric passcode set up as basic security but for some reason it is not recognising when I press the number 2 - which happens to be one of the four digits. It recognises when I press any other number but absolutely nothing when I press 2.

Is there any way of getting in to my phone without restoring?

    Thanks

It's possible your touch screen is having hardware issues. I had to have my 3GS warranty swapped after 2 weeks b/c of the same issue.

If you could paste on that screen it would be helpful but that is a no go too

Maybe I should have tried a reboot before posting....
    It fixed it.
    The other digits are 222

    Or maybe not

Good I am glad you got it. BTW if you ever need to bypass your passcode you can by SSHing into your phone and editing a keychain
