iPhone problem

I press the home key, it goes home, then starts randomly doing stuff on its own. It has called people on its own, opened up apps by itself. Or sometimes the home key doesnt even work at all.

I want to do a restore but i also have 150+ contacts ( im guessing, idk but i know i do have 100+ ) that i would like to keep plus i would like to keep my text message history. Is there anyway i can restore it yet keep these?

As long as you have synced your phone you will be able to get them back. Restore (jailbreak/unlock if you choose) and then sync.
