    Default problem with iphone 3g when answering calls

    hi, when someone rings me to my iphone 3g and i dont answer within 3 rings the phone just refreshes back to springboard. i,m sure there is an easy solution but when u dont (me)it frustrating. hope u can help,

    yeah after about 3 rings. i see the person who is ringing and then it goes back to the springboard

    Do you have SBSettings installed? If so try disabling some mobilesubstrate addons and try to isolate the problem.

    no the phone is not jailbroken and other than contacts and music there is nothing else on the phone

    very strange. Did you try setting up as a new phone after the restore? Is it under warranty still?

    i did set up as a new phone. the phone is still under warranty but i was hoping that there was an easier way to solve the problem other than sending it back to apple and by the way thankyou for ur help

    When you restored did you do it in DFU mode?

    i didn,t. i just did the shift and restore. i will try dfu mode
