OK i will try to explain everything the best i can.
so i got a new phone under my warranty iphone white 3g 16gb
i go restore from backup and its loading from my last backup, but its stop loading wen its about 75-80% done. since i cant do n e thing else i reset my phone. it turns on and my latest backup is loaded on and i can use my phone normally.
so i go and jailbreak it and start installing things on cydia bla bla bla. once my battery died i plugged it in to charge and the phone wont turn on, its stuck on the apple logo, and the loading circle logo thingy comes on every few minutes, then the phone reboots and same thing happends, apple logo plus loadin circle and repeat.
so i restore from backup again, and the backup freezes at the same point again so i reboot and phone works again...i jailbreak start installing things on cydia, i install a few apps then after installin another app n it says restart springboard or watever, the phone freezes, so i have to reset the phone and again apple logo plus loading circle, so i restore again n same thing.
Not sure how to make this clearer, restoring from a back up will cause so many problems, just like what you are experiencing now.
You can sync all your apps, contacts, music and use an app like PkgBackup from Cydia for your 3rd party apps.
restoring from any backup is gonna cause the problem?
i just restored from an old backup and it restored fine withouy any freezes, shud i just go and restore again and set up as new phone?
Your choice, I am not a Guru but I do deal with members everyday that have problems with their phones and I can tell you that this process causes 90% + of the issues. It seems to corrupt files.
All I'm saying is this way you have a clean restore and if you have issues after that they are not software but hardware.
Is Boss Perfs ported for 3.0 (( I just checked and it is))? you should use SBSettings anyway a more powerfull app.
Try removing Perfs and see what happens
