    Default Iphone gets really hot in these circumstances.. hardware problem?

    Hey everyone, Wenever I use any program that makes a connection with my phone, like iPhone PC Suite, or PDAnet (even iTunes when it is syncing)my iPhone gets really hot in the area above the Apple logo.

    it is a 2G iphone, I don't think it is the hardware because I have two 2G's and it happens to both of them

    I wouldn't worry about it. Mine gets hot around the earpiece when it's using wi-fi and it hasn't caused any problems beyond discomfort.
