Fella,
can you explain how you did the jailbreak, version numbers of the phone, the version of the OS your doing the JB and the version of Redsn0w your using.
i used redsn0w 0.8
and the 3.0 version from this site ending in 7A341
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
iPhone already had 3.0.1
also have you tried holding down the home button and power button for 10 seconds?
Thanks

I'd do what it tells you: connect it to itunes. then you should be able to restore the phone, and after that run redsnow to jailbreak it. and it should be back working in no time.

If you are stuck at unloading exploit you probably used the wrong firmware. Make sure you have the 3GS firmware, not the 3g. That happened to me once..

It will reboot, or you can wait until the battery dies, then plug it in.

it's not bricked, i'm pretty sure of that.
have you tried another pc, possibly a mac?
also: make sure you are not connecting the iphone via a usb hub or via your keyboard or anything. direct usb port is the way to go, and it has to be usb2 as well!
have you tried going into dfu mode? also, how long have you been holding power and home? I think if you are in restore mode you have to hold them pretty long.

A trick I have use to get out of this screen on my 3G is to unplug it plug it back in a couple of times during reboot. Not sure at what point but it has worked for me a couple of times in the past.
