i followed the tutorial about the languages and did it EXACTLY as it said but now my phone wont turn on..... how can i fix it WITHOUT RESTORE? i heard something about moving the watchdog file but where is it and wher do i move it? ill lose all my contacts and ********** apps...

it looks like its been removed...
but it had me backup all my other language (.lproj)
and delete all except english.. if i put them all back will my phone work again??

Worth a try, otherwise you'll have to restore. Some of the language file have hidden files within them. SO you should only delete the one that have been posted within the thread.

i did.. i followed the thread EXACTLY as it said.. its taking a while cuz it keeps rebooting and diconnecting from SSH

ok i think im gonna do that cuz its still not working.
is there any way i can backup my texts, notes, or whatever else through SSH? i really want to keep those.. thats whats keeping me from restoring..

and contacts?.. cuz i have about 100....

^ there is a cool app called PkgBackup in Cydia that makes installing all your 3rd party apps a breeze. You should check it out.

^Suggestion. Install Aptbackup from Cydia, It will create a backup of your cydia apps.

Now, all it does is re-install all your previous cydia apps in one blow, vs you having to look around and remember what you had.
