Deleting the microphone app in 3.0

Firmware 3.0 installs the microphone app as part of the OS. Is there anyway to delete this app? I know how to delete apps bought from the AppStore, doesn't work with OS apps. Our security folks see the 3G iPhone (no video) as different from normal cell phones as they have the ability to record voice conversations.

Delete the VoiceMemos.app folder.
