Email viewing order

Hello,

This isnt terribly huge but can be annoying to me. The situation is that if i quit the email application while viewing an actual email (the most recent), and then get another email (just one) when i reenter the application it says i am viewing 3 of 50. When i quite the app i was viewing 1 of 50 and i only got 1 email so i should be at 2 of 50. This even happens when i get an email while still viewing the most recent one.

Ill go from 1 of 50 to 3 of 50 and if i hit the up arrow it will show the same email i was just viewing. And if i get another one it will bump me to 6 of 50.

Does this make sense?

anyone else experience this?

PS: This also happens when i quit the ipod application. If i leave off at playlists when i reenter the ipod it always shows me at videos and tv shows

What sort of mail account is it?

just yahoo accounts. its got to be something with the phone i think
