I have a recalled wall charger... if I take it to the Apple Store, will they replace?
Hello,
My friend has told me that I have the recalled wall charger.
If I were to take it to the Apple Store, would they replace it for free?
Would they replace it right on the spot? Or ask me for a receipt for proof of purchase?
Because I bought my iPhone from eBay and I don't have the receipt and I'm using my iPhone with T-Mobile.
Thanks.

You would be better off calling apple, they will just need the Serial from your phone to verify warranty.
I did this and I got my new charger in 2 days.

I'm pretty sure if its a recall, if you went to the apple store with the old one, they have to give you a new one. if its a recall, it would be illegal on the companies behalf, not to replace it. It shouldn't be a warranty issue, you didn't mess up the wall charger, they did.
The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!
