Backing up Jailbreak
iTunes backs up the apple side... how do i do the same for the Jailbreak section, so basically i can back everything up, update to 3.0.1 and than restore like you do in iTunes....
Got a feeling its not that simple
Thanks In Advance

search is your friend.
all you have to do is open cydia and search for backup
aptbackup, pkgbackup, etc......

Install the app "aptbackup" in cydia. once you run it and click backup it adds all of your cydia app info to your iTunes backup (only your apps though, not videos or themes) When you update all you have to do is sync, re-jailbreak, install aptbackup again, and you will get back all your cydia apps. As for videos/themes/ect you'll just have to re-download. Don't forget to hit the thanks button
