Just wondering how many other countries are experiencing this "crisis".

In Australia, since the iPhone 3Gs was released less than a couple of months ago, more than 1 million units were sold, and Apple simply can't keep up with the demand for iPhones.

Almost every phone carrier in Australia has run out of stock of iPhones and the delay for new customers is "indeterminate". I'm looking at getting an iPhone 3Gs 16GB from Telstra in Australia, and I was told the wait could be up to a month!

Anyone else have an opinion on this/experienced this so called shortage?
