I am trying to restore it now, It says retore and update, should I do that or should I restore it with the 3.0 Apple Official file I used to jailbreak?

Always “Restore” never “update” an update will mean you lose all your space where your jailbreak apps were installed. The files will be present but no longer available.

Makes sense, but since it doesnt give me the option to just restore, do I click shift and restore with the firmware 3.0 that I used to jailbreak?

Just click restore ((not Shift)). Then redsn0w and use the 3.0 ipsw from redsn0w.

So I restore it but it says restore and update, should I do that? And the Redsnow and 3.0 ispw is after the restore for the jailbreak right?

would it be easier to just download the 3.0.1 ipsw and jailbreak 3.0.1 rather than 3.0?
