I just ordered a case for my iphone on ebay and I was too stupid to actually read what I was buying,

it says that it fits 2g,3g,3gs.... but if it is a hard case shouldnt that be not possible?

I believe there are cases that fit both, however I'd check with the seller to see; it looks like they may mean 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation by the description, as opposed to actual 2G and 3G.

There are some like that. They usually dont fit very good because they are trying to accommodate both generations

dont think its gonna work...2G and 3G are different sizes

I have some hard cases that fit both... also cheap ebay ones.

They are a little snug on the 3G and a tad bit loose on the 2G, but they do work, the overall dimensions are not all that different.

The title says 2G, 3G, 3GS. No way that is going to work.

A friend of mine bought one of these also. It fits the 3G just fine but not a sung fit on the 2G phone at all.
