Or you could pay for your own Internet? There's a concept.

Lmao. Fail thread
Worst than my thread.
Sorry but you're going to have to follow the law...
At the very least go ask your neighbor to borrow his wifi!I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

I know that aircrack is a programa 4 crack pass. code from wifii source. But isn't user friendly ( need a computer) because u need know the brand of your wifii hardware 4 download the correct drivers, need know the channel, address, and username 4 crack it. With a computer is hard but possible, with the iPhone we have limitations for... IS better paid the service an u don't need to find everything time a wiifi signal...

You can be polite and ask them. Me and a neighbor shared a Internet connection for a small fee. Doesn't hurt to ask in apartment buildings, some people are looking to save a buck just like you.

I agree. I had a neighbor who lived right below me in the last apartment I lived in and we barely talked but one day he asked if my wifi network was "blahblah" and I was like yep why and he asked if he could see how reliable it was for him and if it worked well hed pay half my bill. I was like HELL YEAH

For a year my bill was cut in half. .. good times! Now I live in a building and no one shares. Greedy , paranoid , selfish mofos! lol
If u live close enough to someone just ask and say you'll give them x amount a month...most they can do is say no.

ignore these idiots, your question is a valid one. Yes there are ways to leech wireless off your neighbours, but you must know that it is illegal. Personally, if people are stupid enough to leave their wireless unsecured then they deserve to have it leeched

Besides, the iPhone's OS wireless driver is not capable of operating in promiscuous mode, which is neccessary for capturing the 802.11 wireless headers. So, the bottom line is that there is no APP on the iPhone 3G/3GS that will crack WEP and WPA. Yes, WPA-TKIP has weaknesses that can be exploited. Use WPA2 encryption and a long passphrase of 20 character or longer. Avoid dictionary words.Last edited by reddawg; 09-07-2009 at 12:21 AM.
