    Default Get Original Carrier

    I bought a used iPhone 2 months ago and unlocked it with pwnage tool, now I would like to find the original carrier for my phone so that I can activate it legitimately (they say that fixes the push notifications problems) but I have no idea which is the original carrier. I connected it to iTunes and tried to activate it with an AT&T SIM card but it says "SIM Card not supported" so I was wondering if the original carrier's name is stored somewhere so that I can find out. Any ideas?

    I live in Peru, currently two different carriers have the iPhone here, but it was probably gotten from another country.
