    Question Navigon/G-Map/Sygic Best GPS App??

I've been looking into Gps Apps for the past couple days and have narrowed it down to these 3. I'm just about ready to pick one but I wanna make sure I'm making the right decision. Now I was just wondering if anyone here has had experience with any of them. And if so, how did it go?

Navigon hands down. Work very well and is priced rite. Downside, it does not have real time traffic update. Glad I didn't wait for tom-tom.

Navigon is my choice also, I have also been trying iGo for the last few days. Even tho it is a very cool and functional app with some great features. Hands down Navigon FTW.

Wow sounds like Navigon's the way to go. So none of you have tried Sygic or G-Map? And are these things one time fee or monthly?

My aunt has Sygic on her iPhone - tried it, it sucks. And the US voice is so obnoxious and annoying.
    Haven't tried G-maps.

And no it's a one-time fee. No monthly payments

I've tried G-Map and Navigon. I'm going to test iGo too.

I tested iGo. Got rid of it! Navigon, while not faultless, is the best I've used so far. I especially like it that I can get addresses out of one's contact list.

in my experiences, navigon never gets a gps signal, while sygic always gets a signal very quickly, sygic also has more of a "gps" feel to it

My dad bought Navigon for me (he ends up using it more often than I do.. must be because I don't drive )
    And my aunt has Sygic.

I have only used Navigon. What seems to help Gps reception is to open the stock maps app and let it locate you. Close maps and open Navigon. Once you choose a location pause a few moments before selecting start navigation. I'm often too fast with the buttons and I suspect it's lime clicking too fast on a computer.

I've tried Sygic & Navigon. Neither is perfect, but Navigon is close. I gave it the nod because of it plays with the iPod Music player. I have my phone plugged into the aux jack in my car radio. So I often am listening to music while Navigon is running. Whenever I used Sygic with the iPod app whenever it would talk the music would stop playing and not resume, even while using Backgrounder. But Using Backgrounder with Navigon really helps put it over the top so when you do get a call the Navigation & GPS signal keep going.

Too bad all the rumor say $199 for the TomTom app. Prolly too rich for my blood.

    Navigon works great on both 3g & 3gs !!!!

3gs loads faster on start both Phones run the software smoothly. Always gets my position.
