Please help me!
OK, so I went on Cydia, and installed this app called FWChanger, to "change" my firmware to 2.2 (really just edits the .plist) and I tried to change it back to 3.0 but it always gives me an error! And now iTunes wants to delete all my 2.2.1-3.0 apps! Please help. At least you could tell me where the .plist is so I could edit it in Property List Editor!
My device is a 2g iTouch. Thanks.
Anyone?
EDIT: Oh, and if you need to know, I used redsnow 0.72 (i think) i can always check if needed.
.....Anyone?Last edited by KGameLover1; 08-06-2009 at 09:12 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

If anyone who knows the answer is gonna see your thread, they will see it in general iphone chat. No need to double post. A failsafe is to restore and rejailbreak

But I don't want to lose all my other stuff, and I don't want to buy PkgBackup.
Any idea what I could type in the "Set Custom Firmware" box? It asks me to put the firmware (3.0, obviously) and the model, but I have no idea what model it is. Could I possibly download a already-jailbroken .ipsw (sorry if talk of that's not allowed here, I'm new) and restore through iTunes that way?

No app out there is going to completely cure the reloading of 3rd party apps. It is an evil that we all live with in the Jail break community.
Myself, I just do it manually. But then I only use several additional repos and about 15 3rd party apps/tweaks, so it's about a 15-20 minute job that I don't really mind doing.
