    Default cydia apps wont show up...

    i jailbroke my iphone 3gs when purplerain first came out...

    never installed cydia...

    today i did...

    tried to install a couple apps threw cydia...

    when the phone respring theres nothin there...

    any help please?

    Why did you jailbreak without Cydia?
    I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

    theres nothin i want with cydia lol...

    i only jailbroke to delete that ugly grey dock and change my sms bubbles color...absolutely no other reason lol...

    but now i want qik on my phone...

    Most SMS bubbles apps will not work on 3.0
    SMS Bubbles 3.0 change:
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ChatKit.framework
    Just replace Balloon_1.png for SENT and Balloon_2.png for RECEIVED.

    To Activate with Winterboard
    /Library/Theme/"name of your theme"/Folders/
    make a folder inside and name it "ChatKit.framework"
    and place balloon png's there

    ive done all that already forever ago i know i know

    im just saying...ive finally decided to install cydia and now none a the apps will show up on my homescreen...i SSH and they are installed...they just wont show up...even after reboot...

    dont worry bout the bubbles and dock i did that when i first jailbroke

    oh and i dont use winterboard i do everything myself
