Some apps from Cydia not working for 3gs
Hi, I just jailbreaked (jailbroke?) my iphone 3gs yesterday. I downloaded the more popular apps from Cydia such as Cycorder, sbSettings and Status Notifier. Unfortunately, they don't work. When I click the icon, the iphone screen blacks out for a split second, then goes back to the springboard.

Some apps are working though, like Winterboard and Dock. (the only ones I downloaded so far heehee
)
Unfortunately, I'm not a techie, but is it that the apps weren't updated for 3gs? Or do you need to SSH these apps? And how?
Help!

They should work on the 3GS, most do.
Try restoring (set up as a new phone) and re-installing them.I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
