Looking for useful new Apps
Hello guys!
I'm loving at the moment my 'iElegance Theme' I'm using currently on my iPhone.
http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/7185/48384205.png (Not 'exactly the theme I'm using at the moment, but for the time being, it will have to do. It's very similar to this one.
I was wondering if there are any programs out there that I might have missed. Anything that would allow bluetooth file transfer, or other useful things like that.
Apps I have installed that I use constantly are
-SBSettings - Absolutely love having a pull down menu, fantastic idea.
-ColorSplash, Photogene are two GREAT apps that really make the most of your photos
-MXTube, Love it!
And that's about it. I don't twitter at all, so mms apps don't really apply to me.
Apps that I'm looking for are ones that really add some functionality to the phone itself.
I've been spending some time searching the forums, and browsing a bit online for a good list of the best apps on Cydia.
One theme I'm interested in, is the now famous iNav White theme. I have downloaded all the necessary applications needed for installation. Though, I have most of them ie: springjumps, 5row dock, 5icon dock, hidden using poof so I can still enjoy looking at iElegance until I get the nerve to install it one of these days.
I have most of the helpful posts/threads saved in bookmarks or screenshots for reference later once I decide to take the plunge.
At the moment though, I'm very satisfied using iElagance. I really like the look of a 4 row SB with the blanks at the top so I can see the time and date at the top of the wallpaper in the background.
I love it! Just beautiful.
So, what are your favorite apps, and some that you wish were available to download?
Just looking to get some conversation going here. I have the day off today and was curious what you people are interested in.
Cheers.
Dran

They seem like some good applications.
Ones I remember installing, though have yet to re-install are Jaddu VNC from the Official App Store. Easily the priciest app at IIRC $ 25. Though well worth it if you have a wi-fi connection.
Let's see, what apps are worthy to put here.
I liked using TRis, for the short amount of time it was available through Cydia. Also I use iFile, well, more accurately I have <i>installed iFile, haven't quite gotten around to using it lately.
Come to think of it... sadly, that's about it.
There isn't much more out there that pique my interest when it comes to apps on the iPhone.
I'm more of a Utilities or Functionality type of person when it comes to Apps I install on my iPhone.
Sure the Theme and Skinning Launches are great, though I'm really more interested in Apps that allow me to add more functionality through productivity.

For Functionality, try Dock.
I like how you can access your apps (while using another app) just by sliding your finger from the bottom up. No need to go back to Springboard and waste 3 seconds.
You can put your apps in folders for Dock too. It has 5 existing folders, I've yet to figure out how to add more. I think it may need to be upgraded for the 3gs version. Or I just need to tinker with it a bit more.
