    Default BossPrefs for 3.0 HELP!

I have an iPhone 2G that I'm letting my friend use. The phone works fine except wifi just wont work. I have restored a few times and it is on 3.0 so i finally gave up. But i need to get him BossPrefs to turn off Edge so he doesnt accidentally use it and run up a large bill. Can anyone help me? I could SSH in and install it but the thing is i cant get on Cydia to install openSSH... Any help? Im on a MacbookPro if you need to know.

No BossPrefs for 3.0, use sbsettings.

I dono about your wifi issues but i'd use sbsettings instead of bossprefs. Why can't you just get into cydia over edge?

The problem is my WiFI is broken... and I don't have a data plan... so downloading SBSettings via Edge would be like 10 bucks.

you need to find a copy of the .deb and then use a program like diskaid to copy it into your phone at /var/mobile. Then use mobile terminal to install the .deb.

Oh I see. I was confused I thought you were using the phone and had the data plan and are gonna jailbreaking/disable edge and give it to your friend to use.

    Here you go:

    sbsettings.deb

    mobile substrate.deb

Install both of these. Mobilesubstrate first
