How to Erase internet history in Mobile Safari

Hello, I was wondering if anyone on this amazing site would know, if there is a way to clear or erase your browsing history in mobile safari. Sure there is setting>safari> clear.... but that never works for me. If I type "www." everything I every typed or every site I've ever been to, still shows up. Clearing the search history works, but not the browsing history. Maybe a ssh option or something else. Thanks in advance. Oh im on 3.0/3GS

You could try settings > general > reset > reset keyboard dictionary. Im not sure if this will affect your browser tho.
