Alternative method of installing Cydia?

For various reasons, I uninstalled my Cydia with intentions to run purplera1n again, install Freeze and then install Cydia again.

However, running purplera1n is not installing freeze.

Is this normal or is this just purplera1n not working properly?

I dont want to restore and re-jailbreak from scratch as my monthly broadband limit is about to be reached.

anyway, how'd you manage to un install cydia in the first place...

Mines 5GB.

I went into cydia, manage, packages, chose cydia installer, uninstall.
