Help: iPhone drops WiFi connection

Hi, everyone, I'm hoping that you can help me.

The phone in question is a first-generation 8 GB iPhone previously running OS 2.2.1 since the release of that OS version.

Over the last week the phone has had consistent problems finding and/ or keeping connection with my home WiFi network.

The family has another iPhone and a Macbook which initiate and maintain connection without difficulty.

I've tried power-cycling, rebooting, restoring, and I've just upgraded the OS to 3.0, all without success.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm all of a sudden having this problem too. Did you ever find a solution?
